Internship in Sustainability at the Financial Supervisory Authority
Are you interested in doing an internship in the sustainability field within the financial sector and are in the final stages of your studies? As an intern at the Financial Supervisory Authority (FI), you will have the opportunity for an exciting internship at the center of events.
About the Department
During the autumn semester of 2025, we are offering an internship position in the sustainability department. The department is responsible for coordinating and driving FI's sustainability work based on the mission that the financial sector should contribute to sustainable development. This is done in collaboration with the four operational areas: Banking, Payments, Insurance, Markets, and the Economic Analysis unit. The department's mission also includes developing policies and proposing overarching operational priorities in the sustainability area as well as being responsible for internal and external communication. The sustainability department is responsible for parts of FI's international and EU work on sustainable finance, for example, by contributing to the work within the European supervisory authorities as sustainable finance is largely governed at the EU level.
As an intern, you may compile materials and conduct simpler analyses, as well as prepare and follow up on internal and external meetings. To the extent possible, tasks will be adapted based on your skills and interests.
Your Education and Skills
You are a student at a university and are in the final stages of your education, for example, in political science, law, or economics, where an internship is included and relevant to your field of study. We are looking for someone who is structured, meticulous, social, driven, and collaborates well with others. To benefit from the internship effectively, you should be able to communicate well in both Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.
Welcome to Apply for the Internship
As an intern, you are given a unique opportunity to gain insight into FI's tasks and processes. Typically, you will follow a case officer in their daily work and get to engage with issues of varying nature and complexity.
Click the “Apply” button below. Fill out the form, answer the questions, and attach a CV where you describe the purpose of the internship and why you want to do it with us. Also, attach a certificate that confirms that the internship is part of your education. Submit your application for the internship position in our recruitment tool. Please note that communication and interview invitations may largely take place via email.
